As the most enduring association of funders in the nation, Philanthropy Southwest has a rich history of bringing together foundation staff and trustees from the seven-state region to learn from one another and experts within the third sector at the Philanthropy Southwest Annual Conference. The Conference is Thursday, Oct. 12 - Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe.
Registration is open to trustees and staff of grantmaking organizations and provides the opportunity to connect with fellow philanthropists located or making investments in the Southwestern states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Conference participants report that they are energized by the sessions they attend, inspired to collaborate and motivated to find opportunities for change within their communities.
The Community Foundations Conference will also be included as a part of the Philanthropy Southwest Conference. This conference is designed specifically for community foundation trustees, CEOs, development/donor services, finance and administrative staff. This conference is from Noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center hosted by the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.
