The Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation announces the appointment of Catherine Reichenberg to its Board of Directors. Parasol is governed by an all-volunteer board and the members are selected for demonstrating a high level of commitment to the Tahoe region and personal involvement in community engagement.
“With a personal passion for the arts, education and social services in our area along with her strong communication and leadership skills, Catherine will be an excellent addition to our board,“ said Claudia Andersen, CEO of the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.
Reichenberg is a native Nevadan and a shareholder in the Gunderson Law Firm. She represents a wide variety of clients that have included everything from local to international businesses, business owners and professionals, commercial and residential real estate brokers and agents, homeowners, developers, contractors and others. She has counseled her clients in their non-litigation legal and business options.
“As a native Nevadan with a network of personal connections and relationships Catherine cares greatly about supporting the community and culture of the Tahoe region,” said David Hardie, Chairman of the Parasol Board of Directors. “Her personal community involvement will be an asset for Parasol.”
She said, “ I feel lucky to have grown up in such a special place and I love sharing our area with my husband and son. I’m excited to join this impressive organization that has done so much good as it continues to expand its reach and serve the evolving needs of our community.”
